There is perhaps no other boot with a history like that of the Chelsea boot. Developed in the Victorian period, it has been one of the most popular men’s boots since the 19th century. It gained renewed cult status via a band from Liverpool – the Beatles. The band’s members preferred to wear these comfortable yet modern ankle boots at their shows, which gave the Chelsea boot a new nickname: the Beatle Boot.
